.What happens in a CranioSacral Therapy session?
A CST session is gentle, quiet, and deeply relaxing. You remain fully clothed while I use light touch to work with the craniosacral system – the membranes, connective tissues, and flow of cerebrospinal fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord. I follow your body’s rhythms to feel where tension is being held and gently support the release of restrictions. Sessions are always guided by your body’s own pace and readiness.
Is CST painful?
No. CST is a very soft, light-touch modality. Most people find it calming and peaceful. Some feel sensations as the body unwinds – gentle warmth, pulsing, softening, or subtle movement – but nothing forceful or uncomfortable.
How many sessions will I need?
Every body is different. Some people feel shifts after one or two sessions; others benefit from regular support over time. Your body will guide the pace. We can discuss your goals and how often you may choose to come.
Is CST safe for children?
Yes. CST is gentle and non-invasive, making it suitable for babies, children, and teens. Children often respond very well because their systems are highly receptive. Sessions are shorter when working with younger clients and always adjusted to their comfort and pace.
What happens in a Reiki session?
Reiki is a calming, hands-on energy modality. You lie comfortably while I place my hands lightly on or above the body. Many people experience a sense of warmth, ease, or softening. Reiki is wonderful for stress, emotional clarity, and grounding.
What does Chakradance™ involve?
Chakradance™ uses movement, music, and imagery to help you explore your inner world. There are no steps to learn. It is simply guided, intuitive movement that allows the body to express what it’s been holding. Classes may also include meditation, visualisation, and drawing to integrate the experience.
Do I need dance experience for Chakradance™?
Not at all. You don’t need to be coordinated, flexible, or confident in movement. Chakradance™ is about inner expression, not performance. You move in your own way, at your own pace.
What is Chakradance™ Kids?
Chakradance™ Kids is a creative, playful programme that blends movement, storytelling, and art to help children understand and express their emotions. It supports self-awareness, emotional regulation, and confidence in a gentle, engaging way.
What if my child is shy or struggles with big emotions?
That’s completely okay. Many children begin the programme feeling shy, overwhelmed, or unsure. The structure of music, story, and movement helps them relax into themselves. They don’t need to talk if they don’t want to. Their body and imagination lead the way.
What should I wear to a session or class?
Wear something comfortable that allows you to relax. For CST and Reiki, you remain fully clothed and lie on a treatment table. For Chakradance™, loose, breathable clothing is ideal for gentle movement.
What will I feel after a session?
Most people feel relaxed, clearer, or more grounded. Some feel energised, while others feel sleepy. You may notice emotional or physical shifts over the next couple of days as your body integrates the work. Drinking water and taking things gently can help.
Can CST or Reiki replace medical treatment?
No. These modalities support the body’s natural ability to find balance, but they do not diagnose or treat medical conditions. They work alongside, not instead of, any care you receive from health professionals.
Do I need to talk during my session?
Only if you want to. CST and Reiki don’t require conversation for the work to be effective. Your body leads, and I follow what it shows. If you feel like sharing, there is space for that. If you prefer silence, that is welcome too.
What if I don’t know which service to choose?
That’s absolutely fine. You can share what you’re experiencing, and I can recommend the best starting point. CST, Reiki, Chakradance™, and intuitive guidance all support the body in different but complementary ways.
Do you work with men?
Yes. Many men come for CST, Reiki, and movement-based sessions. You don’t need the right words, and you don’t need to talk about anything if you prefer not to. The work is grounded, practical, and respectful.
